Lee Cummings LMFT-A is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to holistic recovery. If you feel disconnected from yourself and wish to reconnect, or if you want to regulate your nervous system and navigate stress with ease, you might find that working with Lee is beneficial. Additionally, if you are facing a medical diagnosis and feel isolated, she can provide you with the support needed to advocate for yourself during this challenging time. You deserve to go through your day without feeling overwhelmed constantly.
Lee earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University and is trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She has also received training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, as well as loss and grief, through the Seleni Institute.
In your sessions together, you will discover a judgment-free space where you can express yourself openly. With warmth and understanding, you and Lee can cultivate an environment that encourages compassionate curiosity about your therapeutic goals. She will help you recognize your emotional patterns, equip you with tools for when life feels overwhelming, and assist you in finding sustainable ways to prioritize your self-care.
Outside of her practice, Lee enjoys reading, knitting gifts for her loved ones, and taking walks with her black lab, Ruby.
Lee Cummings LMFT-A works with individuals and couples across many stages of life, including those navigating parenting and family planning, medical diagnoses such as cancer or chronic health conditions, and those seeking support around nervous system regulation, burnout, and self-compassion. Lee provides affirming care for queer individuals and couples and supports clients working through relationship and marital concerns, including communication, connection, and conflict. Lee is also trained in EMDR therapy, promoting holistic recovery for those in need.
Lee Cummings LMFT-A offers both in-person and telehealth appointments for EMDR therapy focused on holistic recovery, available Monday through Wednesday at our Middlebury location from 9 AM to 3 PM.
